We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Prof. Dr. med. Marcus Maurer, a good friend, colleague, and leading expert in mast cell biology and urticaria. His passion, expertise, and contributions to the medical community were profound, and his absence will be deeply felt. Marcus’ dedication to helping patients and motto of “never give up” will always inspire us. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all those who were privileged to know him.
